H body Window Motor/Reg needed

Looking for a left front window motor/reg assembly for a 1985 Lancer/Lebaron GTS.

Are you sure it's not the nylon tape that raises the window. I have not heard of the motor going bad on these. Of course I'm a little senile thanks to some meds! I have extra door if it is the motor. I can pull a motor as soon as it gets warmer than near ZERO/

I have 2 GTS with 180,000 miles on them.

4310577 MOTOR w/MECHANISM, Electric Window, Left

Have fun removing the aluminum rivets that mount the regulator to the inner door panel. I've found that my Makita grinding wheel works best for burning those rivet heads off. Replacements that work well are 1/4"X1/4X20 1/2 inch long grade 5's with star washer nuts attached for locking them back down. Ask me if I've done this, lol Jer

a punch to knock the steel pin out of the rivet and a drill bit will make much less mess

I simply used some nuts /bolts and washers for reinstall

also a really huge help is a friend to stand behind the door and hold it while you work so the door doesn't flap like a wing while working in it

I should have said "large drill bit"
you only want it to cut the head off the rivet , not drill through the door

I've done a few motor replacements as well as 2 or 3 manual to power conversions (daytona)
- the rivet heads are pretty soft being aluminum so it isn't hard to remove them

That's why I commented on the replacement 1/4" bolts and nuts when I said to just burn the heads off with a Mikita. That's the size of the hole in the inner panel that those rivets are set in!. What mess? Jer

That's what I thought, but when I got in the door, the prior owner tried to do something to the regulator and there are parts missing, otherwise I would just fix it. Besides that, I need a whole unit ready to go in, because she lives in NC and I usually only have a couple hours to mess with it at a time.
