Can anyone tell me where to find the MAP sensor on my New Yorker?:confused:
It should be on the LM in the passenger side kick panel.
Didn't they start putting it under the hood in '87?
If your LM has a little black plastic cover on it, you'll either have two wires coming out of it, or a black plastic vacuum tube. If it's the tube, your MAP sensor is under that cover. If it's the two wires, your sensor is under the hood, most likely on a metal bracket on the passenger side near your solenoid bank, probably on the passenger strut tower (I'm not that familiar with the New Yorkers). If there is no black plastic cover on your LM, then the sensor is under the hood.
yep 87 non-lbody is under the hood.
Good call guys. Everything but the SC should have had the map under the hood in 87.
