Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
THIS INFO COULD BE DIFFERENT from early to late cars of course.
I will add them here and someday it can be a sticky.
I want to include part number where we can or at least what car they came from so you can go to any parts store and ask for and get the parts that will fit.
I found these to be true on my 1990 car:
1988 Daytona spindles front and rear
Brakes Front: 1988 Daytona 10 inch rotors.
Brakes rear: 1988 Pontiac Fiero rears
On these rears, I found on the calper's I bought, the metal sleeves where the bolts go through to hold the caliper to the knuckle were too small of diameter and I had to swap them. But is this the fault of the rebuilder or part of the conversion to get them to work on the FWD mopar knuckles?
Brake line part numbers are
RAYBESTOS Part # BH38045 front and rear right
RAYBESTOS Part # BH38046 front and rear left
These lines are late 80s K-car, Daytona, Shadow parts with the center bracket removed.
Power Brake Booster part #54-74100 ( this number good at most parts stores)
Tail lights 79-86 El Camino or Malibu wagon
Fuel Pump...#E2315 AirTech or NAPA P74015
Fuel filter is the same as the 1988 Daytona...WIX #33321...NAPA #3321...Purolator #F54617
in line fuel filter before the pump used NAPA Gold gas filter #3248 or CarQuest #CFI 86299
VDO Fuel Sender Unit = #226001
Headlights:
H4703 low beam
H4701 high beam
Dash lights are
11009
Steering column being from the Chrysler Daytona -Chrysler part #4326815
Outside door handles from Caravan/Daytona
WATER HOSE
the larger hose that connects to the water pump, that heads toward the rear of the car.
Found the NAPA hose #9124 works great. It needs cut to a shorter length.

Confirmed! Just ordered one and getting ready to install it...
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
VDO Fuel Sender Unit = 226001
This looks to be right, and $40 to $50 is all.

I found one on ebay for $35 and that's with free shipping.
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Yes Johnny, that's the correct part number for the fuel sender. I was just hoping on to post that up (i got a spare on from mosler).

Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Got it today! Will see about installing it tomorrow.
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Shocks on the Consulier. Mine are tagged "Hyper-Charged" and have part number 3254 and P9045 stamped in them (fronts). Dont know the rear part number yet.
I found a place in Portland Oregon that rebuilds shocks, called him and said he has never heard of these.
Are your's the same on your GTP?
Have you looked into replacing or rebuilding yours?
- - - Updated - - -
Just found out they were made by Carrera and then that line was sold to QA1 and those are still for sale.
Speedway Motors has the front shock listed as #225 3254 for the front.
Fronts are a shock with an aluminum sleeve to make it a coilover.

Found the numbers on the rear shocks.
KL-A2-L2 2480204H 000
Have not found someone that knows this one.
It is a steel threaded housing.

Found another number on the rear shocks.
180 90
says Bilstein on them
They are 16-1/2" extended
11-1/4 inch compressed
spring is 10" long
and 2-1/2 OD
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Talked to Bilstein this morning. These are rebuildable!!!! For about $125 each.
ALSO he is looking to find a part number he can give us that would be a good or
better replacement coilover shock in case we want new.
If you want to have yours rebuilt, here is a contact at Bilstein....

I have not called yet, for some reason my phone lines are dead.

New discovery.
I had pulled the door seal from a 1996 Caravan sliding side door, thought I might use part of it for my targa convertible top. My cars door seals were taken off years ago (they were about to paint it)..
I tried this seal on my doors and they work perfect. Was 4 inches short for doing both doors. I got another seal today from a 1999 and it was the same.

That's good to know, I wish there was a better way to seal the windows to the door. I know it's not a problem you have Johnny
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Aaron called me yesterday saying his clutch master cyl was leaking inside the car. After some research on his part, it turns out the cyl bore is corroded beyond rebuilding. The unit is a Girling .75" bore remote master cyl.
They do make replacements and rebuild kits if yours isn't as bad as his was.

I've got the part number for the power window motors, but I've got it on my home PC, so I'll have to post when I get home. It appears to be a stock unit from 80-92 Chrysler, but be careful when looking it up, the motor heads are different depending on what car it came from.
My drivers window gear is stripped due to the felt in the window channel bunching up at the bottom and the someone running the window down repeatedly against the blockage...
The regulator seems to be some stock unit as well ( there are teeth that are welded to stop the motor from rolling up too far ), but not sure from what just yet.
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Thank you! I added it to the parts list above.
On the widows. I always thought the 80's mopar's electric widows used that track style. The Consulier uses a motor that drives a gear.
I am also interested in this, as my passenger side skips going up. Acting like it might go out soon.
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
From the pictures on Rockauto, it looks like one of the motors for an 85 labaron ( fronts, not rear ), but I'll have to finish taking it apart to make sure it's the correct one.
The motor is bolted to the regulator and the regulator is bolted to the inside of the door hinge, but the regulator has to be unbolted from the hinge to get to one of the bolts that holds the motor.
Dorman 742305 Front left and 742304 front right....NOT to be confused for 742348 and 742347 which have some sort of odd head on the motor.
It also looks like the motor has some sort of clutch inside the gear that would cause the clunk, clunk behavior.
The gear is also available:
Dorman 747411
Cardone select 8492
A-1 Cardone 4294
Part number on the driver window motor is 4336601
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
I added a bunch of part numbers above.
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Found out today on my rear shock rebuild. I asked if I wanted new ones, what the price is and part number.
#F4-B46-0204-H0
$243 each

Did you post the motor part numbers yet? Wasn't sure if I just missed it. My passenger side is bad and need to replace.
Thanks in advance!

Chris, I posted them in a dedicated thread.
http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...w-refresh-info
Mine still had the part number stickers on them.
Including them here:
OEM part # 4336601 -- Drivers side -- DORMAN Part # 742305
OEM part # 4336600 -- Passenger side -- DORMAN Part # 742304
Thanks for the reminder

Johnny, this part # is different that the part number above. Is this one correct?
Re: Part numbers and parts that fit the Consulier
Both. The number above was on the shock. Old number I guess.
When I asked them about rebuilding mine, I also asked about new ones and
this number #F4-B46-0204-H0... is the number you would use to order new ones.
But it would take longer to get the new ones, as they said it is a custom build-to-order.
