seeking information on boost button SMEC & SBEC flash modules

I am looking for info on how both of these flash modules where programmed. like what software was used etc. i will admit i am not an mopar owner but i am looking to potentially adapt these modules to work in an audi bosch motronic ECU. my ECU uses a 27c512 and an 87c257. both chips have their own independent siemens SAB80c535 processor which is intel 8051 based. in my 87c257 side i would imagine the SBEC flash module would work as is because the boards on osh park have the 74HC373 already incorporated into them to adapt the latching. my other concern was on upgrading the 28c256 on the SMEC module to 28c512 so it could house the data for my ECU. i will buy and assemble the boards from osh park but in the end im not sure how to interface with them to load BIN files. is anyone here still knowledgeable on these or is the original creator hanging around and might be able to chime in on. any help would be great. thanks.
