Deceleration Fuel adjustment
I need some advice as to where I should make adjustments to the fuel curve when decelerating. In my 2.5 g-head cal when decelerating my wideband goes full lean when decelerating. If I just slightly rest my foot on the throttle it stays in range. Do I adjust fuel baseline?? and is there anyway to increase it higher than the next point. D-cal seems to limit it to the same or less than the next point. Any advice would be appreceiated.

Re: Deceleration Fuel adjustment
I adjusted mine to shut fuel off under lighter vacuum (23"HG as oppose to the factory 26"HG). I forgot what tables I adjusted. I'll look it up when I go to work tomorrow and post it when I get home.

Could you phrase it another way so I can understand what you want to do.

Re: Deceleration Fuel adjustment
what's wrong with the a/f going full lean when your off the gas and coasting in high vacuum?? It's saving you fuel and not hurting anything.
Re: Deceleration Fuel adjustment
He is saying that it goes way lean when he just barely touches the throttle after deceleration. Similar problem to me.
Re: Deceleration Fuel adjustment
When I'm in decel my fuel shuts off. I barley touch the throttle and it's back into the 14's. I don't have the problem your having. But I'll still look to see which tables I adjusted for fuel shut off. Now that I think about it, I think I adjusted all three to shut it off. I'll try to take a snap shot of the screen and post it.

Re: Deceleration Fuel adjustment
Sorry for the first message. I guess my cal is ok. Mine is only lean when decelerating, when I hit the throttle it goes back into the 14's. I wasnt sure if it was a problem being as lean as it was decelerating. For example exiting a highway with no throttle my AEM wideband reads 17.0 to --- (full lean). I want sure if this would be a problem on one of our engines. What I meant in the first message is that if I would barely touch the throttle decelerating, it would shoot to the 14's.
