Find a screw just big enough to screw in and then pull it out with a hammer is the method I used.

Thank you guys for the suggestion.
Seems to me like there is always too much oil up top so I've made a couple of restrictors from brass plugs. Exact numbers aren't coming to mind(not suprising:lol:) but I make the hole about 20% smaller and haven't damaged a cam yet. I also like to spend a lot of time contouring/improving the oil drainback holes in the head. Not that you asked:o
Oil drain back in head and block are done on my engines. ;)
