I cut and short end my e-brake lever then had it rewelded when I put my B&M Quicksilver in. You just take the e-brake lever assembly put, drill the rivet towards the back and it all comes apart. Than cut the e-brake lever body and the bar inside that the front button is connected to and weld them back together. After that paint and replace the rivet with a bolt.

That's a '90-'95 G/J-body e-brake.

My Duster still has a disaster of an Ebrake attempt from 9 years ago. It involved using the stock footbrake cable. UGH. Think its been disconnected for 8 years.
Yeah, I lost the foot brake when I welded the cage in (driver side front upright plate on the floor went where the cable used to go through, so was without for years. Cables on mine took some liberties only a car without a gas tank can do, however, I think thy might be able to be routed over the stock tank if needed

Sounds like I am in luck then, I have a 12 gallon Jaz behind the axle.
Re: BadAss SRT-Z - 2.4L / A568 - Update!!!
Brent, you're all set then for clearance, just need to drill 2 holes in the floor and then which cables and mods to them might depends on what rear brakes you are using.
Re: BadAss SRT-Z - 2.4L / A568 - Update!!!
i recently had my tank out so i know i can drop it some to get the cables through without breaking the studs off :)
i have a 2000 neon parts car sitting there... i think ill try grafting that setup in.

Great Lakes Dragaway Mopar Festival 7/26/15 - Car has been oddly cutting out and several times not data logging and this trip the ECU flaked out (spiked?) right before the 2nd run. It hooked coming out of the water and I didnt clutch in time and died. went to re-start, nada. Pushed teh car back and looked at the cal and it was all FUBAR (whole VE table was 200!?, so I reloaded the cal and it started right up. I didnt get a data log on that run and didnt realize until after the 3rd run that it was no longer reading the WBO2!

Great Lakes Dragaway Test-n-Tune 10/11/15 Final time out for the year playing with 2 stage boost more. First pass was great, a new PB 10.50@141.66! 2nd pass tried the 2step for the first time and it left hard but too much for track to hold even on low boost. 3rd run no 2 step, OK pass. After run, Tommy noticed trans was leaking. Trans oil on top of case where it showed up before. I think I cracked another case :(

Re: BadAss SRT-Z - 2.4L / A568 - Update!!!
Thanks for learning more about case weakness for the rest of us. In for pics
I was going over the incrementals early in the year and that cutout problem sure put you all over the map. made those runs useless. That ecu replacement working fine since then?

LOL Whenever I get some time I'll pull the trans to see what happened.
*knock on wood* it has not cut out once since the ECU replacement and has been much more consistent run-to-run

I think I was pestering about this in some threads from last year but have you now considered caging the transmission end to end?

I'm not sure caging end to end is needed, was thinking a few gussets to bridge the main case and diff. FEA anyone?
