Re: 1989 Chrysler Daytona Shelby T-tops
I haven't done anything to the Daytona in a while... My motor is still at the machine shop, so i've been collecting a few parts in the meantime... I'm in no hurry for the bottom end getting done since its not going in the car this year and if jesse at FE is building it i know for sure it's getting done right!
I got one of the last TU aluminum rads and it's a very nice piece! Chris does some top notch work! I also got a TU high flow fuel rail, accufab AFPR, +40% fuel injectors and a 2 piece intake... i'll only be using the bottom of the intake and i'll send it out for porting once i get my custom upper. it's slowly coming along... over the winter i'll start buying more parts for it and push myself to get it done for next summer. I figure its going to cost about another $7000 to finish it off with all the things i want.. Hopefully it gets me to my 400WHP goal!

Re: 1989 Chrysler Daytona Shelby T-tops
Started building a shroud for the new TU radiator... i made it out of 1/16" aluminum. Tomorrow i'll get a flex-a-lite fan and finish cutting the holes for mounting it to the rad and trimming the edges.. i'm also going to get the edges welded. This Shroud should work good being an inch away from the core.
I'm thinking about polishing the radiator tanks and the shroud.

Hey, I haven't updated this thread in a while since I've been really busy with other stuff. I've still been collecting parts and saving money for the motor build.
Thanks for the compliments!
Here's a few pics of the bottom end all finished up.
