To be clear, this is the last update I got from John.
I had sent messages out for those who were stragglers.
Has everyone received an email from John, regarding the cost and payment info?

Wayne,
I have heard from eight of the participants on your list below and one new not on the list (xxxx).-
The red names are the ones missing so far.
I am going to send all the ones that contacted me my PayPal info and then get started on the shafts.
Thanks for getting this group together.

As luck would have it, shortly after I posted, John sent me an email.
We have 16 input shafts accounted for.
He is going to get started processing them.
If you have any questions, let me know.
wayne, i had asked john for paypal payment info some time ago and have not received anything back!
Morris, here is a copy of an email he sent to another participant.
I assume he is shipping flat rate, but maybe the shipping was quoted by address.
He is very busy, and usually takes a bit to get a return email.
He did mention sending paypal payment by friends & family to avoid the fee. Hopefully you can do it bank transfer to avoid getting the 3% fee yourself.

Thanks for contacting me and confirming your order for one A413/904 input shaft.
The cost is $420.75 + 12.00 ship/ins = $432.75 total
I accept PayPal for payment. Please let me know if this is acceptable.
Thank you, John

thanks.
My payment went out today.
Just paid today.
Thanks guys!
Any updates Wayne? Just curious.
As of Jul 9th the steel was on the way.
Though I have heard from John since then, he didn't mention a status, just that everyone was now paid up.
He was going to start on them when the steel arrived.
I think getting all the payments in took a bit longer than I expected at least.
We should get through this first, but are there any other parts we should look to get made?
Has anyone ever broken the front planetary carrier? I've twisted its splined input hub off the rest of the carrier twice. Though I'd be scared to wonder the cost to build a custom front planetary carrier compared to these input shafts.

Ya, if we could get our input shafts, that would be great.
Broke mine last night on the way home testing my new intake plenum doing a highway on ramp pull. Got to the top of the ramp, shifted into third, and a loud "BANG" came from the transmission. Could have been worse. Last time I broke an input shaft it took out my pump and torque converter.
This input shaft had four runs at the track, one dyno tuning session, and made a weeks worth of driving to and from work.
Can't see the pic A.J.
I've emailed Donato Engineering for an update, so i will post when i get a reply.
http://www.franavehicles.com/ And you have to pay attention to the Neon boards besides here to keep up with all the stuff that can be used for our cars....the last group buy was a over a year ago and contained planetaries, outputs, transfers, ring and pinions, and input supports...
