MPFlash Batch#2 Interest/Pre-Order List

The team that brought you the MPFlash Universal Flash Module is prepping for another run.
Do to some chip supply issues, no OctoPlay versions will be available at the current time, but if you are interested in the OctoPlay, just make that note, and we can check supply availability as things progress. I will post the price once we have verified the current parts costs, but hopefully it won't be much different than the previous prices.

As with the previous batch, Single play and MultiPlay will be available, for the SMEC, SBEC, and the SBECII (652, 377, & 910)

Are they now setup to do any SBECII unit, or do you have to pick the one to match the board?

The unpopulated PCB is the "universal" part.
They are configured differently depending on ECU Type.

Brian, the SBECII are very funny. The numbers I list below is the part number of the PCB board
SBEC2-377 uses an on board latch chip like the SBEC1 but the pin spacing is different (32 vs 36 pins)
SBEC2-652 the latch function moves from the chip to the board, I feel they did this to reduce cost.
SBEC2-910 same as 652

Several other SBEC2 exist but they are rare for our application

Thanks Miles. I need to get my NOS V6 SBECII out of the box and see what type of board it is.

Just to comment on the V6 ECU, I am sure most reading this are aware.
The turbo ECU use peak and hold drivers that pulse at 4 amps for a short period of time then reduce to 1 amp for the duration of the pulse width. This is for our low Z injectors
The turbo ECU will also fire V6 high Z drivers
The V6 ECU use Saturation drivers and are unable to drive Low Z injector without damaging the Driver on the ECU.

If you add a an inline resistor to the injector harness you can use the V6 ECU to drive Low Z injectors. I would expect you would need to retune.

UPDATE!
I have received a number of SMEC and SBEC configured MPFlash modules.

I need to do my part with them, cleaning and installing the multiplay pigtails, and then testing.
There were a couple secret orders that were placed, and those should probably go out after the holiday.
I will activate the order page again and repost the address here.

I did locate a few chips so we can make OctoPlay. Another year or so will will be able to buy these in lots of 5000...
