1989 LeBaron GTC TII convertible $1500
Up for sale is my wifes 89 GTC. We are having a baby, so the convertible has to go. The car started out as a TI automatic, and I did the TII swap with parts from an 89 GTC TII coupe that I parted out. The engine is a real 87 TII, that has been rebuilt with stock parts. The transmission is a small spline A523. The car is in pretty decent shape, but it does have rust in the floor from the roof leaking along the top of the windshield. The car is still very solid and could be easily fixed with some patch panels that I am including with the car. The TII swap was done the right way, and I even managed to find the correct GTC 5spd shifter bezel. The front suspension has been rebuilt with new ball joints, outer tierod ends, and poly swaybar bushings. It has new KYB gr2 struts and shocks with csx springs in the front. The engine still has the 87 2 piece intake, but the turbo has been upgraded with a 14k mile 89 garrett from a TC. The cam is an 88 TII roller with a new timing belt, and Mopar headgasket. The breaks are good shape with new pads, hoses, and turned rotors about 2 years ago. Has a new FWD performance TII TIII clutch. The paint is peeling in spots, and the drivers seat has wear on the bolster. The car is more of a dependable daily driver but still looks good when cleaned up. It comes with the white boot, and the front speakers have been replaced with MB Quarts. The tires are about half gone and so they will need to be replaced within the next year. The top is in good shape with the exception of the piece below the rear window has some cracks in it. All power options work including 12 button navigator, rear windows, and power antenna. This would make a great donor car for a turbo swap, or just drive it. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have, as I'm sure I'm forgetting some things.

AC does not work, but the rest of the ATC is functioning correctly. Pics were obviously taken during the summer, but the car still looks the same. A couple of other things, Magnecore wires, braided stainless turbo lines, and K&N air filter. I also have a perfect interior for this car from an 89 GTC that had 26K miles on it that I would include for another $500.

I would be interested in trading for an Aries, Reliant or Town&Country wagon.

Re: 1989 LeBaron GTC TII convertible $1700
hey. im interested in ur lebaron. how many miles does it have, and is still for sale?
Re: 1989 LeBaron GTC TII convertible $1700
I think the body has around 138K on it now. The analog odometer quit working last year, so I'm not sure exactly. I might still be interested in selling it, but I'm pretty firm on the price since it's still my daily driver. I have had to install new tires since the original post, but the price hasn't changed.

Re: 1989 LeBaron GTC TII convertible $1700
I've had the car for about 4 years now, I bought it on ebay with a bad engine. It runs fine, but does have some wrist pin noise when it's cold, but goes away once it's warmed up. It's had the noise since I installed the engine, so I don't think it will be a problem.

Hi, if someone buys this car and swaps in the low mileage interior, I'd be interested in buying these bucket seats

The rocker looks bad on the passenger side, but it's actually still solid.
