Looking for a good working gauge cluster including the board for a 90 turbo g-body (I think the j-body cars have the same dash). Mine seems to have issues. The water temp and voltage along with the check engine light no longer function.
Thanks

have you looked at the printed circuit board? might be the problem
5268012 is the board, one year only 1990
have it
I just assumed that the board was the issue since the 'left' side all stopped working at the same time. I have no diea as to how to test it so I was just going to replace it if possible.
if you need it I have it
The # on the back of my board is 5268012 so that board you have is the same as mine. Is that a new board, reman or one that was pulled from a car?
Is this the same used in 89-91 Maserati TC?
Mopar #4375145 gauge circuit board 1987-91 J, G, and Q bodies are all the same
5268012 1990 J,G only the 1990 is an oddball being only a single year
5268219 1991-95 J,G
Martin, the factory information is wrong if we are talking about the actual gauge cluster circuit board. 1987-1989 have the same dash. It changed in 1990.
The reason '91 is different from '90 is the '91 has another warning light (ABS I think). A '91-'95 board should interchange with a '90, but not the other way around.
1989 4375145 gauge 4051977 tach
1990 5268012 gauge 4375410 tach
1991 5268219 gauge 4375410 tach
the gauge boards and the tach boards are given for the above years
gauge boards:
5268012 1990 only J,G bodies
4275145 1987-91 J,G,Q bodies
5268219 1991-95 J,G bodies
tach boards:
4375410 1988-95
4051977 1985-91 4233632 cast on part
there is some overlap on what these fit and it depends on what year and model you have in order to figure out which ones are applicable
I know why it's being confusing about the G/J years with the Q....the Q (TC) was built from 89-91 (not getting into semantics) and never changed, so that's why the '87 part number continues to '91 and why the overlap.
So, "4275145 1987-91 J,G,Q bodies" should actually be: 4275145 1987-89 J,G bodies and 4275145 1989-91 Q body
I lumped them so not totally accurate

if I remember correctly the 90's clusters have a connector at each side )?) with very small connections in it
if all your problems are at one side of the cluster , several connections in those little connectors are sometimes the actual issue
sorry if vague but I quit on my 92 before I got past having to learn a new wiring system for the third time and went back to what I already know well - enough
just a small part of the info that left me wanting not to bother after all - multiple ways the new cluster screws up .. I don't need that hassle
