My car will start but then when u touch the gas it stalls. help me:(

Well my car will have a hard time starting and the minute it does start as soon as u touch the gas it stalls out. I am not sure if it is because the distributor cap or if it ish my pc..

do you know how to check for codes?

It might be a really weak fuel pump too or a bad pressure regulator....

? first start after 'cold soak' (sits overnight) ?
? hot soak (first restart after run to op temp and shut down) ?

disconnect your battery for a couple of mins then reconnect and try starting it, i had an issue with a reliant at work a while back, o2 sensor was bad and leaned the car out so much that it would stall after a few seconds, by disconnecting the battery you reset any fuel trim data saved
