One of our members used a V6 SBEC II socketed with L4 calibration.
Turbo 1 or turbo III?
I am looking for a good T1 SBECII. I have a stack of socketed 3.3 V6 SBECIIs and I thought I could use those. I am having no success in getting one to run. I am building a 2.5 Turbo Dakota. What is involved in getting a 3.3 SBEC to run T1 code?Quote:

Yeah, that's what I was referencing. I have four SBECIIs that were pulls from 3.3/3.8 minivans. I socketed them all. None of them will run on my bin that I dumped from my original computer. I also have two TBI SBEC that runs fine with the same ROM chip.Quote:

I read again the various messages on the topic and both the L4 code and V6 SBECII are of the same year. So the original author used SBECII code on an SBECII.
You can do it with a FFV sbec2 also from acclaim and spirits
Are all TBI SBECs SBECI or did they make an SBECII in a TBI application?
SBEC2 was also in EFI application, for example in 2.5 EFI P bodies. I have one stilling on my shelfQuote:
