Anyone know where I can find the specs on a factory Lotus head? As in, the limits for machining, port sizes, etc.
I seem to remember someone cut up a Lotus head once upon a time and posted photos either here or that other forum. You might try doing a search for that. That is about the only way your going to find out casting thicknesses and where the water jackets are. As far as specs, have you checked with machine shop's databases? I've seen 445/287g-head, 655 g-head, 782 swirl head, and IIRC, the Lotus head on the two forums. Can't ever recall seeing a cut up Masi head though.

I have a spare head at a machine shop and he's never seen one before, so he asked me if I could find anything. I've gone through the FSM's and there's really not much in there...

Unfortunately thanks to photo bucket, pictures are blurred :(
Maybe someone could contact Simon and see if he can repost them as attachments, eliminating photo bucket. Perhaps he still has them on his hard drive.
