I swapped out the spindle on the 86 TurboZ from 89 Shelby. I seem to have contact with the crab rims. Thought the swap could use the stock rims.

nevermind ... me dumb dumb. I don't have the rotors on the car yet ...
I just did this swap on my wife's 86 Daytona. It has crabs on it, and they are extraordinarily close to rubbing the calipers, but they just barely don't. I'm not really happy with them from the standpoint of all the heat they retain, but that's life with that style of wheel and no real venting I guess.Quote:
