Pictures of fender flares and size of tires run
Looking into how big of tire I can fit under my 86sc. Looking to shove something super wide under there when I do the rwd swap and all the suspension work. It seems as tho for the brakes I want to run is need to run a 16" tire to fit over the calipers. I haven't found anything readily available wider than 8 or so inches wide in the 16" range. Stepping up a size might help with more availability but I'm not sure. Any auto cross or road race guys wanna chime in here. I'm looking to put down over 400 horse to the rear wheels and maybe more than that once the chassis is all sorted out but I'd like to get the power down.

If you're converting to rear wheel drive I don't see how wheel size is a concern at all. Just set the rear suspension in far enough to clear 10" wheels on whatever rear axle you're running. It'll all be custom back there making fitment all but a non-issue.

I was thinking this. But I was also thinking 10 up front and wider in the rear. Height was in the question too.

Fact is the wheel well is only so big and I was wondering what people have fit before they started cutting. Like I said to go wider I need to go taller as well.

I believe Jon trotter has 17x8" wheels on his car with it sitting pretty low. He only rolled the rear wheel wells.

That sounds promising actually. It would be nice to do 10 or 12" wide on the reAr
