ETA II: I see the reserve was not met. How does that work? Can you accept the highest bid, or do you have to turn it down?
Thanks / No thanks ... just kidding.
With a reserve auction, if the reserve is not met (it was not met by $25) the car is not sold per Ebay. You can relist the car, or you can reach out to all of the bidders and send them a "buy it now" offer. However, your offer cannot exceed the price of the initial reserve.
Re: 1984 Chrysler Laser XE Turbo
Thanks for that info. Seems like you might have a good option with offering it up as a buy it now.
Re: 1984 Chrysler Laser XE Turbo
so class,
decide the reserve and subtract 50 bucks
just to deal with the clown that can't / won't round his offer off to something in an even number.
(LOL)
you know the same guy who standing in the driveway says 7450 when all you asked was 7500...
Re: 1984 Chrysler Laser XE Turbo
A guy who I have been talking to before I even listed it will buy the car at the reserve price, so it's all good.
I am also selling a Ducati, and a guy went back and forth with me yesterday on price. He negotiated me down $425, but I wouldn't move the last $75. I told him to go eat ---- by the time we were done, and now a guy is driving from an hour and a half away to pick it up at full price. So, there's that, too, lol. Just can't be TOOOOOOOO desperate...at least not all the time.
