holset he351cw with aftermarket turbo manifold on 2.4L.
planning on welding puck shut and using the external wastegate manifold mount. having a hard time trying to justify spending 250 on a tial. any other tested wastegates at a lower price available? what would you recommend for min spring pressure?
I would go with the Tial.
After being very impressed with the Synapse Engineering synchronic bov, i would look at their external wastegate offerings. But, i am not sure of the cost matching that pricepoint.
The bov has no diaphragm, and the wastegate uses the same technological design.
If i ever need to use an external I will be trying one of theirs.
Recommend Tial, but I don't want to buy another! I bought a cheap ebay gate last year for a non wastegate related project and have not tested it for anything at of yet
