Cross-over hard brake line the same in all K-based cars?
After replacing the fuel tank and related parts on my Spirit R/T, I now have a brake line leaking. There is a pin hole in the bend of the hard line that attached where the long front to rear line runs down the passenger side on the line that connects just to the right of the fuel filter and runs in front and above the fuel tank to supply pressure over to the driver rear of the car (I think.) I need to bust out my service manuals and see if it show the line routing. I don't know if this runs over to the left rear wheel soft line connection or if there is a distribution block that it runs to to supply both rear discs. Regardless, I was thinking last night, is this line pretty much the same on all the K-based cars or is this an AA-body only hard line? Or maybe is it only a rear disc car hard line and the drum cars had a different hard line? I was hoping to find a clean original line to take off a car as it would be an easier and quicker repair than bending a new one. I'm prepared to buy and bend and flare a new one but just curious as to how hard finding a stock used replacement might be. Does anyone know from experience? I guess my manuals might give me an idea when I get a chance to pull them from the shelf this weekend.

The different wheel base lengths are going to come into play. Each wheel has its own dedicated hard line from the prop valve and there are no splices built in (as originally made).
expensive but that nickel-copper brake line is nice and super easy to work, never rust or go bad again. Or I have had good luck with Inline Tube out of Michigan.
Re: Cross-over hard brake line the same in all K-based cars?
Years ago (15?) I had replumbed the entire brake system on my Shelby Lancer. I used prefabricated steel brake line from NAPA. Some sections required a union and two lines to get the whole way, but it was all double-flare like factory. These are straight lines and still need to be bent up, but the nice thing about straight line is that the straight sections are actually straight, versus using hard line from a roll. It's been great since.
Recently I had to replace a hard line on my GLH Turbo (driver/front). NAPA actually sells copper/nickel prefabricated lines in various lengths, in addition the their coated PolyArmour and regular steel lines. I found the 20" length fit perfectly there and it was very easy to bend up and install compared to the steel. I did have to order it because they didn't have it in the store though. It saved me from having to mess with buying a nice flare tool and doing that part myself.

yeah the different wheelbase stuff should be the main difference.
i once needed to replace lines on one of my old winter beater aries and i had rust free lines from a h body lebaron. they fit but i had to make an S bend under the car to take up some of the extra length.

They are like $300 all over the internet. Expensive, but worth it.

If you are only doing brake lines and 45 degree bubble and double flares, this one is about half the price of the Mastercool (SUR&R HFT50):
Attachment 64159
But it is not as universal as the Mastercool set.

Anyone actually tried/seen the AGS flareforce tool in person ?
I have the mastercool, eastwood and 5-6 other 'this is the one' flare tools... The holding dies on the mastercool really munch up the OD of your tube. The eastwood one works great but the yoke and saddle will stretch/indent with use and then the holding dies do not line up.
