Help choosing coil over shocks

My 87' GLHS suspension needs its upgrade. I saw coil over shocks and struts for $1,500.00 on the site. Are they really worth it? What is the best option? I do not mind some stiffness in the suspension, I want to improve the car's handling. Also, any reputable mechanics in the Connecticut area? Any info is greatly appreciated.

There's not many choices unfortunately. I think still has Cindy has the koni setup and rich Bryant sells the BC setup.

I like the BCs due to the nature of their adjustment for height, and also the fact that they are double adjustable.
