Fault code 27
I have been trying to figure this out for about a week now.My chrysler laser was not starting so i did the key dance thing and got codes 11,24,26,27,34,54,55 then i would wipe the codes and get a different set of codes when i would try to restart it.I got all them figured out but code 27,i have change out the injector wiring & the PM and tested the injector connection & tested the wires for the injectors on the LM and got a reading of 5.03 on both of them but when i tested the injector connection i got no reading.I changed out the fuel filter too,i dunno what else i can check or what it is.Maybe bad injectors or Lm or a break in the wiring somewhere ?

Re: Fault code 27
Ok i rented the OEM 8 pcs. noid light set, tested the first one and second one ( injectors for cylinder 1&2) and got pulses from them.I then tested 3&4 and got nothing,no pulse, light or anything from them.I already replaced the PM.

Re: Fault code 27
Bad LM or the terminals for those wires in the LM plugs is broken/pushed out/weak.

Re: Fault code 27
On three different cars I've had 'nonsense' codes, too many, out of order etc. For each car it's been a grounding issue, on RedBox it was a complete failure(wire break?) of the J5 'signal' ground to the SMEC. something you might check for...

Re: Fault code 27
I was taking a closer look at the PM connector and noticed that the wires coming out of the connector were exposed and the tan one that runs to the injectors 3/4 looks broke.I would post a pic but photo bucket is not posting pic`s right anymore,is there a way to fix the wiring coming out of the connector ?

Re: Fault code 27
I took the connector and where the tan wire went i drilled thru it enough to fit the tan wire thru, stripped the coating off and pushed it around the brass fitting in the Pm connector, turned the key and it fired right up,so now i guess im looking for a Pm 10 pin connector.
