Description:
Rare interior color option Red/White. Factory enthusiast seats are shot and need to be re-upholstered. Swapped them for non-enthusiast seats in red (Still have original white seats if you want them).
Driver's rear quarter window motor sticking. Hitting it with a long stick gets it moving, but sitting for a day or two causes it to stick again. When the interior was swapped, both rear window regulators were busted and swapped with replacement pieces and greased. Top works mechanically, but has a few holes that are taped up on the inside, could use a replacement).
New head gasket, runs like a top. Odometer and speedo was broken when I got it, said 136k-ish. Speedo replaced, odometer broken in new speedo, says 196k now. Transmission shifts nicely.
Previous owner added a spoiler and hood scoop. Painted in a white pearl with ghost flames (Don't really show up with camera, hood scoop picture is the best I could do to show them) 0 rust Florida car, interior nice and clean.

Bump, forgot to mention it has a Walbro 255 installed by previous owner.
Re: 1989 LeBaron Convertible 2.5 Auto
Bump, Price dropped. $1,800 o.b.o for a Turbo Mopar enthusiast.
I have access to a mint red top that matches the interior I can toss on for an extra $400.
I can also include an 89 TII Garrett Turbo if the price is right.

Re: 1989 LeBaron Convertible 2.5 Auto
Theirs ah pretty decent International Airport in Tampa you know? 15 hour day and you're down 'n back. And fuel consumption is probably way better then the FWD too. If you get too much white crap in the cold months tell her to stay home where it's safe, win win, Jer
Re: 1989 LeBaron Convertible 2.5 Auto
I wouldn't hesitate to drive the car any distance. It should make the trip to NC easily.
Side note: I put the A/C belt on for the first time since I changed the head back in January, and I think the A/C clutch is locking up. A/C worked for about 10 minutes then the belt started chirping and slipping. :(
Side note 2: Driver's rear quarter window started sticking. Bang it with a stick and it works. I guess it just sat so long not getting used. (I have a company truck I drive every day, didn't really find many excuses to drive the LeBaron places.)

Only 2 more weeks before I put a maroon top on it and bump the price $400. Get it while it's cheap!
Re: 1989 LeBaron Convertible 2.5 Auto
No go for me. I think the phrase was "me no likey". What a shame.
Re: 1989 LeBaron Convertible 2.5 Auto
Did you show her the flow chart I sent over titled "How to pick up girls in the drop top LeBaron"? You must not have, I'm sure she'd have let you get it if you did....
Re: 1989 LeBaron Convertible 2.5 Auto
I think the last thing my wife would authorize would be picking up any more girls! ;)
