Upgrading Oil Pressure Switch and Sensor to Combination Style
So, I have a Chrysler 2.2 Turbo with the older style separate functioning oil sensor and oil switch. I would like to upgrade to the combination switch/sensor sender unit. I could be way off here, but I suspect this is a common modification amongst the Turbo community? I have seen the idea referenced in several posts, but haven't found any reference to a write-up on the process. Is this even a thing? I don't know. Sorry if this makes no sense. Thanks for any response.
Re: Upgrading Oil Pressure Switch and Sensor to Combination Style
Older oil pressure switch and older oil gauge sensor are both ONE wire.
Newer pressure switch/sensor combo are two wire.
It's literally cut and splice the wires in.

oh ok, ive had cars with that sender. i didnt realize that it had a switch and a sender in one. I thought it was just a switch since I had them in my old 89 aries beater iirc.

Thank you. I know it seems silly to ask, but I figured I'd ask since I saw no other references to it. Thanks
