needing help with91 daytona

bought the car 3 days ago drove it 150 miles from where i bought it from fine ....and now it dies...i dont get it this is my first turbo car and could really use some help....was driving 55 and car just started losing power...pulled it out of gear and it would not rev...stayed on side of road for about 10 min then started back up...only to die again a mile down the road...then i go to pick it up this morning and my buddy wiggles the wiring harness and it fires.....but previously to this the car would not run over 4 rpm....wat do i need to do and do ya think the wiring problem is the whole problem?its the part of the harness that feeds to distributor.......HELP
