That was awesome.
Thanks for sharing!
Looking forward to the turbo build video. I always wanted a turbo inline 6.
I remember an old project AMC Eagle wagon that was turbocharged by some magazine, (or was just featured). I wanted one badly when I was just getting my license to drive.

always had a "curiosity" regarding amc stuff .. had a buddy with a gremlin and another with a hornet so we played with some amc v8 stuff
I worked at the local wreckers back in '86 ..one day 4 .. yes FOUR 69/70 amc amx's showed up .. stuffed with the parts from another bunch of amx's that were already never to be seen again .. still wish I'd bought that "stash"
those and a near mint tan on tan 383 slapstick 71 road runner that came in too
a pink 70 satellite convertible got saved though .. rotted badly ..but I mentioned it to "the right guy" and he went & saved it
the little Jeep Comanche pickup's .. I haven't seen one of those , yet this century .. they're all gone up here
395 Hp would equal a supercharged F150 5.4 lightning ..little jeep would probably be 1000 pounds lighter ...hummm
watching hemming's "barn finds " I learned amc built two turbo diesel amc eagle wagons .. one is just sitting in the guy's property full of amc's
The turbo build results were awesome!
Would be so cool to have that in an old AMC!

I believe this is a pic of Barney Navarro's AMC Turbo 199 that almost ran at indy.
The 199-232-258 Engines went on to become the famous JEEP 4.0L
Thanks
