Description:
CSX 418 is up for sale. I will put it very bluntly so there is no confusion. The car is a rolling shell at this time. The drivetrain is NOT installed and at this time the engine DOES NOT have a cylinder head installed.
The drivers side floor pan has been fixed with welding, structural rivets and panel bonding adhesive to reduce the risk of rust getting a toe hold back in the cracks and crevices where it usually starts.
The passenger side floor pan is not nearly as bad on an overall scale of size but it needs a fair amount of work to make it 100% again. The worst portion is cut out and braced structurally at this time.
The outer rock skin on the drivers side is solid but it needs some careful weld filling to undo the mess that Shelby Auto's did when they put all the GFX garbage on there. The passenger side is similar but does have a large void at present from all the rotten metal that was removed. As well there is a portion of the rear rocker panel to the wheel well arch that was trimmed out.
There is alot more but I will spare the novel and more than happily take a call or question from anyone interested. http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65607&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65608&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65609&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65610&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65611&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65612&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65607&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65608&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65609&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65610&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65611&stc=1http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/at...id=65612&stc=1

Re: Csx 418
Craig, I used you and #418 to motivate me during the "lazy" periods of my refresh of #432 since we bought our cars at the same time. You had the tougher project.
I hope #418 goes to a good home.

Re: Csx 418
I underestimated the extent of the repairs needed and had a very over optimistic timeline in which to get things done. Attempting a project of this scale outside in your driveway is a losing battle on all fronts. I am looking at a career change, this thing cannot sit in the driveway for another 5+ years. I am putting my efforts towards the 4dr to get it back to where it needs to be and researching storage options for it should my job change come to reality.
