4 more orders (6 actual devices) went out today, 2 assembled and 4 DIY kits that were waiting for a different capacitor.
Those folks should get tracking emails from USPS and Paypal.
I'll let you know when i receive the next bunch of assembled units from Miles.
Next bunch update. I have 4 DIY kits and 11 new units assembled (ready to test). Once testing is complete, I will send to Wayne.
I know with so many posts in here it might be getting hard to follow. But if anyone has been waiting to order, there are some extra boards.
And I need to make another small order for displays, so I would like to group together since they ship from China. I really don't want to order a bunch of extras and then not use them.
If you want one but wait until the display order is already submitted, you might need to absorb some extra shipping charges or purchase the display on your own.
So let me know, or submit your order before Monday. I plan to order the displays Monday morning. ( I did receive 1 bad 7" display that has a problem with the resistive touchpanel. So I will not wait long to order.)
Thanks!
Got mine in the mail today, looks great! I can't wait to hook things up and see what she does! Thank you!
I received mine today also. I should fire them up and try this thing out.
Hello,
Now that we have completed testing of the second set of 15 units. We will start what we believe to be the final run.
We have only a few extra boards available, so if you are think you would like one....now is the time.
Looking for low cost? You can always order a DIY kit and get it assembled later.
Update, last week 15 tested units shipped to NC for final inspection.. Over the weekend I was able to work of the final set, Progressing well so far, I expect to complete the assemblies before the arrival of the clone Megas. Canada Post postal union is working to rule so mail is not fast these days.
I have 20 mini toggle switches for the power selector, to switch between +12v acc power (normal), and +12v batt power (flash/read)

And prepping a bunch of assembled board orders for testing. Targeting getting several of those out by Weds if testing goes well.
Are the enclosure assembly instructions different from the video posted for these enclosures? The screw size and quantity seem to be inconsistent with the video.
I am nearly complete assembling the final set for batch for Group 3. Another hour work and I will start functional testing on the lab bench.
Got 3 orders out today from the ones I tested yesterday.
I thought I had more days off this week, but forgot the scheduled changed.
I'll try to get some more tested and out this week.

I received mine. Thank you!
It looks like I may actually will be able to test this soon, as my car is finally leaving paint!
The machine screws are not long enough to go through the bottom of the enclosure, the spacers, the board, and have enough threads to catch the nuts. I can get longer screws, so that's not problem. Just wanted to make sure the assembly didn't change between versions.
No one has mentioned that. There should be two longer screws for attaching the arduino. You are only using one of those spacers for the height off the bottom panel.
You are using both spacers only to support more of the arduino. If that makes sense. Once you attach the arduino to the lower panel using the U shaped spacer, you'll feel how it needs a bit of support on the other end of the arduino. So you just use the other spacer to get pinched between when you tighten the two mounting screws.
If you have a picture that would help me. I'll look at one of the enclosure kits I have left, But they all should be the same hardware.
If it would help, I could try taking some pictures too.
I just don't have much time, but would be nice to have a picture sequence to post on the mpscilink website for a job aid.
Also I got a few more orders out today before work. Another one was destined for Canada.
Those customers should have received a tracking email.
