Took apart an 89 enthusiast seat. The material portion is pretty complicated. Anybody tried having these remade? Putting the seat back together is a bit of a pain but not too bad.

Local place wanted $500/each to redo the 87-90 style P-body seats, not quite enthusiast seats but lots of cutting and sewing because of the separate side bolsters vs the center sections. I was not going to argue with them on price, it seemed fair given the market area. I bought an industrial sewing machine last year to start getting into things like this but until the lawsuits are settled I don't want to have too many irons in the fire.
local place wanted 300$ to recloth some seats of mine. 600$ for leather and 500 for fake leather.
My 3000GT i just bought a set of Corbeau CR1's for instead. 850$ shipped a set. with brackets.
absolutely loved them.
I bought a set of E46 seats to try in the car. I still like the 89 seats better ... just need them in black leather.
