It was windy, so the officials only allowed 1/8 mile racing.
My 2 steps worked great, held rev at 4000rpm, then my passenger axle let go. Turned out traction with DR and higher RPM launch isn't so great.

Bummer the axle let go. Maybe if i can find some garage time over the next couple months i can make it out next time!

Yes, like Miles mentioned you probably should jump in the DSS axle group buy.

Nope.
From the start, I never cared much about low ET and only MPH, I never broke any axles chasing MPH.
No more 2 steps and no more hard launches for my car.

Drag radials are pretty hard on axles...slicks hook better and allow a bit of cushion with the sidewall.
