1983 ? L Body Console

I believe that this came out of a 83 L body...it is not the mini console.


The pictures in the part book from 1982-89 do not show anything like this. 2 mounting holes on one side and one on the other.

Underneath no mounting holes, only 4 slots, 2 on each side of the rectangular lower lip below the opening visible from above.

NO part numbers cast on it. Got it years ago in a wrecking yard

Any ideas what this is?

Looks like what would go with the cubby part if you don't have the armrest console

This is the L body automatic shiftier housing. same one in my 84 Charger

Sorry, I was incorrect. My 84 Charger's is slightly different. This is the same shifter housing in my friend's 84 Rampage, not the Charger.

Picking up my 83 Scamp GT this weekend. Will see it it's the same. If it is I will take it. Thanks.
