Interested in item 12. How much to ship to 91978.
Re: FS: performance parts and some stock 87 T2 parts.
The turbo, is the price 450 or 650? But also, thats definitely not a super 60 wheel it looks like a T4 wheel in there.

asking $450.
I had a true s60 some years back, it appears to be identical to that turbo and I was told it was a s60 but the guy I got it off could also be wrong.
I got one of your old 1 piece intakes up for sale, 5 or 6 years later I never did get a chance to install it.

I'd have to agree.
Re: FS: performance parts and some stock 87 T2 parts.
couldent tell you, all I know it's identical to my last s60 turbo. if it is, some one might be getting one hell of a good deal I guess.
Re: FS: performance parts and some stock 87 T2 parts.
Possibly. Opinions about t4 wheels in t3 compressor housings vary widely while opinions about the s60 are pretty much blue chip. You would get really close to a positive ID just by measuring the ID of the compressor inlet with calipers since the housing has no 'step down' in diameter like a stock TII housing does. The compressor inducer diameter would be within 1mm of that and we could ID it with a fair amount of certainty. If you have calipers i'd give it a whirl! Might also sneak a pic up the swingvalve of the turbine wheel just so we/you know it hasnt been clipped or replaced with a stg2.
Good luck with sale!

it is defiantly not a stage 2 turbine.

The attached pciture is a "real deal" Super 60 Turbo which was a package sold by Mopar Performance and built by Turbonetics. After awhile any Turbonetics dealer could lay hands on them, I sold a number.
It had a Super 60 compressor wheel, the compressor housing was machined to fit the wheel and a .63 exhaust housing with a 2.5" swingvalve with big can wastegate. A majority of the compressor housings were polished.
The name seems to have fallen under generic use over the years. People have sold turbos with regular 60 trim wheels, T4 wheel, etc. calling them S60.
Re: FS: performance parts and some stock 87 T2 parts.
This is a stock T2 vs S60......the S60 was slightly damaged from bearings shot and massive shaft play causing rubbing but nevermind that.

But yours is clearly larger. Most of the time the 46 trim T04E is used, but that is so large I'm willing to bet it's a 50 trim stuffed in there!
Re: FS: performance parts and some stock 87 T2 parts.
It's hard to tell from the pics but that doesn't appear to have the angled outlet that a stock turbo dodge compressor would have.....it looks straight. Are we sure that isn't a full T4 housing anyway?
We need measurements! Please measure the inlet on that compressor housing, and then the inducer size on that compressor.

It looks like a 60-1 to me, I built one exactly the same with Chinese parts, turbo worked awesome! felt like it was lacking just a little on the top end, but was prob the fact I was still running a stock intercooler... or stage 1 unclipped wheel?
