NEED help with Shelby Dakota brakes
My friend has a 1989 Shelby Dakota. He is needing the bracket the brake caliper bolts to. NOT the caliper....the bracket.
He said its not the same as a regular Dakota, not the same as the 91 Dakota, not the same as the van the k-frame was from.
Any ideas? Is the parts store not helping?
Re: NEED help with Shelby Dakota brakes
Why does he need to replace it Johnny? Heli-coil caliper mounting threads, or braze up caliper adapter glides, a little filing, and he is back in business. Could be a unique part like the rear calipers on CSX's. I've repaired plenty of caliper adapters this way.

The guides need repaired. Guess if nothing is out there thats what we should do.
He also needs a wiper transmission arm grommet.
