TU sells a good cast header, some will argue it's not needed, but I don't think one can go wrong with it, though a few guys have gone extremely fast with ported stockers.
It's also worth noting that one of the biggest reasons this header was made is to shift the turbo over so a non stock turbo outlet will align/clear the head.
Mike
Brian Slowe has built some very nice tubular headers for the 8v engines https://www.facebook.com/pages/Slowe...35008053205812

10 seconds in 1/4 mile, whatever amount HP that a car needs.
Here's a header you can buy

I think he's close to 2000 lbs with his Daytona: http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...FwdPerformance
I meant the weight you can achieve in an L-Body, not the stock L-Body curb weight. (Or there abouts, 2,200 I think is L-Body)
But 2,000 lbs in a Daytona is damn impressive, lol.
no , forget daytona meet drill
correct answer , daytona meet my air powered auto body saw
ain't gonna be much left but skin and frame & just enough reinforcement it don't blow outta shape going down the track ..
but then ya need a cage so ...
Could you even fit a tubular header in a non modified L body? (omni)
Yes, there is actually more room behind my TIII head in my Omni than there was in my Spirit. This was Robs header from his spirit that i fit onto my motor just for giggles....It had more clearance in my omni.

I second that question.
I believe he is.
