Sachs or KYB struts/shocks for Lbody?
It's time to replace the strut/shocks on my 85 GLH.
I found Sachs Super Gas struts/shocks and KYB GR2 strut/shocks.
I don't have good experience with GR2 as they lasted a very short time on the Daytona and the current strut/shocks on the GLH is GR2 (probably less than 20,000 miles since they been on the car)
How are Sachs Super gas struts? Any feedbacks?

I don't have any experience with Sachs either but as you know the GR2's are very pedestrian. Do you know if it's a mono tube or twin tube shock? I wish KYB would start remaking their gas-a-just strut/shock for the L-bodies. Bilstein also made them way back when. I thought Gabriel also made struts/shocks for the L-bodies.

Re: Sachs or KYB struts/shocks for Lbody?
Judging from the price, Sachs is probably stock replacment, which mean is twin tube. Hopefully they'll last much longer than GR2 did. I might have bought the last Sachs front struts in the world.
Either buy sub $150 struts, $1300 koni strut/ or over $1300 coilover replacement with nothing in between. That's the choices we have now.
