The wiring harness under the dash, the amps and tuner under the passenger seat and the remote on the back side of the console/armrest.

Would the bare shell of the unibody be able to be sold as a "part"? There oughta be someone in your area with a rusty Lancer that could use this unibody.

Re: Shelby Lancer #478! (65,000 and rip)
I've seen people cut the living crap out of cars over there.... but yeah, can't have the vin part.
It's a leather interior to the poster that asked in another post.

Which archives? I've googled and searched here.... only found it for sale in Berwick with those miles for around $5,900.

Re: Shelby Lancer #478! (65,000 and rip)
Things I learned today, Shelby just drilled the grommet above the LM to run 2 wires for the AIS. Also the fog light wiring is standalone where in 88 it's run through the 50 pin under the dash.

Re: Shelby Lancer #478! (65,000 and rip)
Isn't the vin just attached to the dash pad and the I'd plate on the core support? Minutes to remove that stuff...

Drilled would imply they took the time to do something like that. I'm confident they took a sharp pointy object and rammed it through, with the wires taped to the sharp pointy object. When I pulled my harness out, I re-ran the wires correctly.

SDAC archives... well, they were started as my own # car records archived over the past 10 years or so, but with the SDAC Director hat on now...

Could you share the link? I saw #487.... not #478 on the SDAC registry.

Doh! :)
Any chance you know of a previous owner from any registry regarding this car? I used to see it on here in the past, all the time: someone finds a Shelby in a JY or ends up buying one, and from the # people usually know "oh... that's such and such's car!"

Re: Shelby Lancer #478! (65,000 and rip)
Unfortunately for this one I only had the add reference and not a name
