NOS Door Window Belt Weatherstrips (Scrapers) for Daytonas and other FWD cars

For some time I had NOS door belt w/strips for the non T-Top Daytonas and I'm out.

But recently I got a call from someone that had bought 7 tractor trailer loads of various weather strips from the original manufacturer.
Unfortunately ALL of them were unidentified. I sent him one of my used examples for a Daytona and he called back that he had identified a
number of pairs that he had using my example. When he finally gets around to sending me some I will have some to sell.

Here's the point to putting this up....I need people to send pictures of these weather strips of their L,J,H etc. body cars 4 door or 2 door
with a description of:

left or right
front or rear
year
specific model
and also importantly the dimensions of the part....length & width

Since this guy is not a "Mopar" fanatic he has no idea what the difference between a
1979 Corolla and a 87 Lebaron is when he's staring at thousands of these weather strips.


So what I need to send him is detailed photos and descriptions and hopefully he'll be able to
ID these things and they will be up for sale at a much cheaper cost than if new tooling was necessary.

Also needed is the T-Top G Body weather strips as all I have is a pile of chunks from some doors I pulled
years ago.

I sent him the example 2 months ago and he just called me this week so it may take some time but hopefully this will pan out.

If he has a set for a t-top daytona, count me in! Part #4397158 and 159. I know how you like your part numbers!!

I'd be interested in a set of non T-top G-Body scrapers and Rampage weatherstripping. BTW - If he bought these from the original manufacturer, perhaps he could tell you who that was and we could try to talk to them about running some reproduction batches.

I believe Shelbymopar89 still has several sets of NOS T-Top seals...

First off I have gotten no actual parts from him yet so I'm waiting to see if it pans out. No point in sending anymore stuff until I get some parts back from him. I may need to send him actual samples of the other w/strips so he can match them up as photos might not be good enough. He indicated he had over 30 pairs of the G body ones. So hold tight and don't wet your pants YET. I will certainly let everyone know if I have something to sell.

I have all the w/strips for the 82-86 convertibles,1991-93 Shadow convertibles,1992-93 Daytonas,1987-95 J body convertibles,some of the later P body and other ones for samples but certainly have lots of gaps in my inventory that I can't supply for him to compare.

how about scrapers for '89 P body's?? (2 door)

Are these scrapers only or the door frame weatherstrip as well?

I have some H-body seals I can send you as samples.

I have a real odd-ball, a 1990 Plymouth Sundance 2 door, has the "aluminum" colored part attached to the window scraper.....with just over 330,000 miles on the car mine are beyond shot, would really like to find a good set.

+1 for p-bodies, need some for the csx.
