Wanted: Beat up nasty 16 inch Pumper wheel
Need one 16 inch Pumper wheel, cosmetic condition not important as long as it's not bent in half or anything. Need it to do some mock ups for a big brake set up and don't feel like taking my car out of commission to use one of my wheels. Needs shipped to NJ O8854
Thanks

Thanks. Please let me know how it turns out. I've been thinking about milling some adapter plates for the later knuckles so we can use Brembo brakes off of the Viper. I'll be very interested to see what their solution is for our cars.

Start milling, my man! Lol. My biggest problem is that I'm addicted to using my pumper wheels, so this will mean a custom set up will have to be devised.

I hear you when it comes to the pumpers. I have them on two cars, with nearly a complete set in the basement and I love the fiberrides because they look close.
Is your main purpose to find a lighter brake package, or do you believe you're at the limit of the 11" stuff?

I am looking to have Brian Slowe build me a very killer TIII and I don't want my brakes to be a stumbling block when it comes to some of the high speed events I plan on taking part in.

That makes a lot of sense. Between what will most likely be a weight savings and the ability to bring down your speed, you should be coming out way ahead. I believe Jon Trotter is also looking for a bigger set of brakes. His GLHS really gets moving on the straights and has plenty of tire to take advantage of larger brakes.
My CSX has no issues with the 11" brakes and if I change it will only be for weight savings. I too am trying to stick with wheels. I just want the RPF1s in the lightest flavor I can get. I'm thinking about a CF hood and or trunk lid. That should drop a ton of weight off of the high side of CG.

Nobody can help a brother out? How's about loaning me a Pumper? Or renting me one? I have a pretty good rep around here and will guarantee the wheel is only going to be used to mock up brakes

Might want to try this place: http://www.thedodgegarage.com/ (not mine). Click on "Garage Sale" on the left menu. Good luck!
