Dont buy aftermarket replacement 2.4 balancers

I am posting this to save anyone the time and aggravation. I figured I would save a few $$ by buying a aftermarket stratus balancer for my 2.4 build. I got an ATP but the dorman looks the same. What a mistake. I wouldn’t install one of these on any engine. The machine work was awful, the rubber insert was 3X the size at 12 o'clock as it was a 6 o'clock. With all of the oil pump issues due to harmonics it was not worth the chance. I sent it back and got a mopar replacement what a difference between the two.

Sorry I didnt take any pictures, sent it right back. Just wanted to let people know because ebay and other places seem to be flooded with them. Basically all I was getting at is spend the extra $20 and get a OE part...

What was the country of origin ?

China. It appears just about if not all of the aftermarket ones are China.
