I win the NMCA World Street Finals in a True Street class
As subject line states...but in my stock except 3" side exhaust PT Cruiser GT, not Matchbox! Now I am up to 47 Championships...unknown number of wins, just championships! One of the best parts about the win was the announcer acting like he knew me...he did. He mentioned the SDAC...who the heck was he, I could not figure it out...he was GREAT though. After the awards ceremony, he comes to me...towering over me...big tall guy, young...IT WAS FLEA..Clif Sebrings son! The last time I saw him was over 20 years ago when he was announcing one of the SDAC events!!!

Congrats Angelo!!
Yeah, Flea is all grown up now. He announced at the track in Pittsburgh for us. I was amazed at how good of an announcer he has become.

Lucas Oil Dragway....(Indy) Only used 10 lbs of gas for my single practice pass, the road drive, and the three back to back runs! Matchbox gets 21 mpg, this gets 31!

I would have loved to win in Matchbox, but rules state no Lexan, no light wt body parts but hood, and....it is too slow.

Yeah...this year I was semis...so in my last 6 visits I have 2 wins, 2 runner ups, and 2 semi finals. The guy in the near stock but stickered up blue Cavalier ran a 16.581 on a 16.58 and I lost a bit of traction on that pass and was a tenth slow. In the finals he ran the guy in the ratty looking 1st gen low 15 second Neon. This guy runs the United Manual Transmission Racers series and always does well....this time the Chevy ran a tenth off.
Re: I win the NMCA World Street Finals in a True Street class
I was wondering why you were a tenth off. I watched your previous bye run and seen that you dialed in on that passes results....

Don't feel bad Angelo....Went to a 1/8 mile track in MN last week, In the first round,I cut a .010 light, and ran a 6.47 on a 6.45 dial and still got beat; opponent cut a .000 lite. He was running a delay box, throttle stop, and auto air shifter.
