Looks like that, doesn't it? I still have not driven on the street with 20psi. The dyno operator was the first to hit 20psi in my current setup.
I had a 2.5L setup in the same car, with full 14psi boost by 2600 RPM and
I absolutely HATED it.

Yes, massive torque peak happens around 2800-3000rpm, but the torque number fails very sharply, and peak hp happens somewhere in 3600-4000rpm range. Great for wheel spins and 0-40mph, but nothing when you downshift to 3rd and try to pass a car on the highway. The engine probably made 300 lb ft of torque, and 200hp, if that. Torque steer was horrible. I did manage a 14.2 at 102mph at like 20psi.
My new 2.2L setup is great, I already autocross with it. It doesn't feel under power at mid rpm and it will give you the power you need at upper rpm. Pulling away form a stop is great, it just get more power as you pick up speed vs wheel spin then nothing.
I love the new setup in my car.
