Price: $60 for the head, $30 for the 1 piece, $20 for the exhaust manifold, $80 for the ported mitsubishi turbo. OBO
Description:
1.) A Chinese cast head that was put on my van 2 years ago and was supposedly for the turbo engine. It has 20k miles on it. It was pulling 21 inches of vacuum when I had it installed.
2.) The turbo was ported as seen in this thread: 125k miles on it. The lines would not be included as I bent one of them during removal. It did not smoke and would max out at 15psi when I had it on my engine with the waste gate line unplugged, due to the ported waste gate hole.

3.) A T1 1 piece manifold.
4.) A T1 exhaust manifold.
Everything worked fine and didn't smoke, but I blew a head gasket and decided to swap out the whole top end with higher flowing parts. I would prefer not to ship, and I am located in the Portland Oregon area. I will post photos soon.

You could shim the wastegate can and probably get some more boost out of it.
Re: 1989 2.5 T1 Top End and turbo
Yes at one point I added an extra spring on the actuator and got 20psi of boost. I checked out the turbo and the shaft play is fine, but the blades edges furthest away from the turbine side have some wear from what I assume was dust, though I ran a filter.
If anyone is at all interested, send me an offer.

Interesting innovation there!

Shelgame posted at one point that while he could get 20psi out of a mitsu for a while, the turbine blades would actually flex out from centrifugal force and grind themselves off on the turbine housing. He said after it finished 'self-clearancing' they would not make more than 16 psi on the same motor after that. That may be what was happening to you.
Re: 1989 2.5 T1 Top End and turbo
The turbo could still make 20pi of boost, I just removed the extra tensioner spring. Also, I want to get rid of this stuff. PM me offers, worst I can say is no.
Re: 1989 2.5 T1 Top End and turbo
If someone comes and picks the parts up they are $50 for everything. I want them gone.
Re: 1989 2.5 T1 Top End and turbo
I would be interested in the intake, exhaust and the turbo... dont really need the head itself! But I would need them shipped to Oklahoma 74403!
