This pivotal area is commonly over-looked and under-addressed. The gains go far beyond improved flow when the turn from the manifold to the turbine housing is blended well into the turbine housing. The turn radius increases dramtically, volume improves, significant exhaust gas velocities are realized at the scroll entrance, and wastegate actuation/control becomes more responsive.
