The Original "Turbo Dodge" Cars
A lot of that trim is key hole mounted. Look for a screw at one end, remove and it should slide off the studs.

On clean surfaces I like a wax type coating that will stay in place (like cosmoline). On surfaces that are already 'seasoned' or inaccessible I use...

Fluid film and kellsport sprayer will keep it looking nice. Later mirrors look good on those trucks.
