Born and raised in Memphis. Been working on my car since 1991 when I first purchased it. Originally the car had 65K miles and ran like a top. Over the years, it started running more like a top with arthritis. Eventually I installed a TII motor setup and now it runs like a top again on steroids.
Also purchased a 1992 IROC R/T with 65K miles on it and drove it from it's original home, Anchorage, AK. A total of 5,238 miles from start to finish and about 15 gallons of antifreeze along the way. With a blown headgasket (thankfully) and all season tread tires, my friend and I traversed the Alaskan highway through the Yukon and BC, Canada to Seattle, WA and then across the country to its new home Memphis, TN.
Future plans for each car are to continue to customize the Shelby and restore the Daytona. Both require money and time, neither of which I have a lot of at the moment.
