Confirmed hotrodder, I have been building engines, transmissions and working on various types of race cars, street rods etc. since high school. I spent 14 years in the Marine Corps reserves. I owned my own shop for a number of years, Preston Carburation. I worked at the local Dodge, Mercedes-Benz and at the time Jaguar dealer, Tysinger Motor Company for 3 years. I retired Newport News Shipbuilding Laboratory Services department doing calibration and engineering. I attended Old Dominion College in Norfolk VA, but didn't graduate. I was an engineering major.
