how much power did you make on that setup? and alright i will probably drill and tap a new hole for the tensioner so i can actually mill the head when i go to make power... thanks for everything im only a kid and in high school but i work at a dealership and am gonna go to the high performance school in ohio next year so hopefully i can get better at all of this
well my block is already decked .030 over making it a h.o. engine... where can i get a shorter belt because me personally have no problem with a 11.5:1 compression ratio... or how do you relocate the tensioner... just wondering because i am planning on doing mild port work myself on a 782 head with a bigger camshaft (probably the MP 767, or Comp 280H i believe it is), and of course conical springs.. with probably a weber 38/38.... thanks for the help, Matt
22Mopar, I heard your the new name for allmotor? not only that everything ive read that you have done seems like your the guy to talk to when it comes to building a 2.2 8valve... i have a 1983 shelby charger with about 1200 miles on the engine.. and i was wondering if theres a way to get higher compression without tearing it apart for new pistons... i heard there is a belt thats shorter... if there is would you help me out? thanks for any help.
