I'm going to be lazy and copy the bio I shared for the Audi Driving Experience at Hallett earlier this year.
MIKE HALLEY has over 40 years of experience in the automotive and autosport industries with specific expertise as a rally and race driver, driving instructor, professional driver, professional mechanic, professional rally, race and hillclimb car/truck builder, rally/hillclimb Crew Chief and team manager, rally and race official/steward, and even Hallett Motor Racing Circuit caretaker in the 1970s. He is Oklahoma’s first SCCA ProRally National Driving Champion and has also claimed an SCCA ClubRally National Driving title along with a COMMA ProStock A title at HMRC. He managed Freestyle Motocross and X Games star “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram’s first season in stage rally including participation in the first-ever X Games Rally Car Competition in 2006. Mike has been involved with product knowledge instruction/demonstration on several new vehicle launches, and expanded on his Vietnam-era USAF enlistment by training Navy SEAL and Army Special Forces personnel the many facets of tactical driving. He was the semi-tractor-trailer Subject Matter Expert (SME) instructing Army truck drivers advanced defensive driving prior to their one-year deployment to Iraq (and from which everyone returned home unscathed). He currently contracts as a Field Inspector on 6th generation deep sea drilling rigs around the world, competes/mentors in rally, Solo and RallyCross, and is lead pace car driver for SCCA events at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit.
