Turbo Mopar's Car of the Year - 2009
Bill Baker's (30 PSI SHADOW) Turbo III 1983 Dodge Rampage!
L Bodies have a tight engine compartment, but that didn't stop Bill Baker from swapping in a Turbo III from a Spirit R/T and building one bad, blue, and beautiful Shelby-ized Turbo Truck!
I purchased the truck in Arizona in 1997 when i lived out there for a measly $500 bucks!! No rust and even still had the original muffler which was rust free!! It came with the "Prospector" package in white with black bottom. A carb 2.2 with auto powered it.
Back in Vermont i spent the last 5 years restoring this 1983 gem. It was torn down to the shell, flipped it,and cleaned and sanded the underside. The entire truck was covered in 98 Viper blue pearl. I added the shelby nose, and then redid the inside with a mint set of 89 CSX non recaro seats and the shelby steering wheel.
Now for the good stuff! It is now 91 spirit R/T powered! Here are the specs..

Turbo Mopar's Car of the Month - January 2010
Bill Gamalski's 1985 Omni GLH #48 ITA race car
Our January 2010 "Car of the Month" has many "firsts" ...
- First N/A GLH COTM, although it is still a "Shelby GLH" - and could spank most turbo cars with Bill behind the wheel!
- First from a non Turbo-Mopar.com member - Bill was an AVID SDAC member, just not online much
- First in memorium of a great member of our community!
Bill loved Shelby Dodges, in fact he LIVED Shelby Dodges, the biggest enthusiast I've known. He had many mopars including several turbo-mopars, however, his favorite was his #48 ITA road race Omni. This carb'ed GLH could set the pace for many a turbo car. It has a built bottom end, aluminum rods, big valve ported G head, 12.5:1 compression, MP cam etc, etc. and revved to an 8,000rpm redline! To stay within class rules it even ran the A525 transaxle, however it had been gone through, Shelby LSD, heim joint... [Read More]

Turbo Mopar's Car of the Month - December 2009
86redturboz's 1986 C/S Daytona Turbo Z
It's a 1986 Turbo Z C/S, red with balck leather and t-tops. She has 112,XXX original miles on her and runs like a dream. Fully optioned, everything still works and the t-tops do not leak!!! I've owned her for going on 3 years now.

Turbo Mopar's Car of the Month - November 2009
Dustin Schiermeister's (dds78910) 1992 Dodge Spirit R/T
Here is my 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T. I bought it out of Philly, PA back in May and it had a few mods done to it already. Grainger valve set to 15 psi, 3" Exhaust from the turbo back, FWD calibration, Cometic headgasket, ARP headstuds, and the head was rebuilt and crack was repaired, and had black 17" wheels, Blacked out taillights and side markers, reflective pin striping and letters, Eibach lowering springs and KYB shocks and struts, Subaru WRX hood scoop, and some fiber glass interior work done.
Since I have bought it I have been just repairing all the little things to make it a good daily driver. I have replaced all the window and lock switches, rebuilt the speedo, put the dash and console back to stock, re wired the stereo back to stock and installed a Deh-p6500 Pioneer CD player with a XM radio Receiver box mounted under the passenger seat, redone some of... Turbo Mopar's Car of the Month - August 2009
Clayton's 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T!
I purchased the car from Joshua January 16, 2009 for a cool asking price of $1,500(PayPal FTW) with a little over 125K miles. I met up with Joshua and Jeremy(iTurbo) in Aurora, CO at Pull N Save Auto Parts & Recycling Center January 17 to exchange ownership, and some used parts shopping!
