Well first I just had a glasspack exiting out the driver's side but I got a ticket for it being too loud. So I cut off the cat, moved the glasspack up and threw a turbo muffler on it under the exhaust tunnel for a while. Yesterday I finally bought the pipe that goes over the axle (stock size..) and put the muffler in the stock location and threw on a big exhaust tip I got from the junkyard. I think it sounds great :D It's low and rumbly but you can't even hear it inside the car. The glasspack really helps to reduce interior noise.
So it goes like this: manifolds-> 2.5" DP-> 18" long glasspack with 2.25" pipes-> stock sized pipes to the rear end-> turbo muffler then big @$# tip.
(BTW this is a 3.0 A543 Spirit)

I think it's a job well done :thumb:
Here's a video clip I made: http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d75/jvory/1992%20Dodge%20Spirit/videos/?action=view&current=spirit.flv

Yeah glasspacks reduce interior droning. Enjoy it.

Well so far so good. It's holding together great and still sounds awesome. I love how quiet it is inside the car. Outside the car though it is pretty loud :) I wonder if the tip also helps with the noise like the glasspack?

Sounds good. Those resonator tips do help reduce the noise and drone. I have one to try on my van when I get the trans fixed.
